Unterkunftsbeschreibung
The building in which this apartment is housed was used for the Universal Expo of 1929. Recent renovation work has restored it to its former glory and as such the interior is truly stunning.
This spacious apartment has two delightful, quiet bedrooms: 1 with a double bed, which can be separated into two singles; and 1 room with two single beds. Both bedrooms haves sufficient storage space for belongings. The property has two bathrooms: the first has a bath and the second has a hydro-massage shower.
One of the focal points of this super flat is the bar located in the hallway, which can be used for pre-dinner drinks or as a breakfast bar. Direct access can be gained from the bar area to the compact and practical kitchen, and living room.
The living area was previoiusly used to hold exhibitions and is now decorated with carefully selected details and items of furniture, making it a particularly lovely place in which to relax.
At the rear of the apartment is the beautiful dining room which affords views over the surrounding area. This room is furnished with a long, elegant dining table which seats 8 and a hammock style chair suspended from the ceiling.
Surrounding area
This apartment is located in close proximity to the majestic Plaça Espanya, home to the seasonal delights of the Magic Fountains. Other attractions in the area include the FIRA fair and congress venue, the Caixa Forum exhibition centre, the MNAC art museum and the Olympic stadium. This area is also very well connected for getting around the city — the centre is a short 15 minute metro ride away — and out to the surrounding areas.
