Apartment description
This truly amazing apartment is an absolute pleasure from the moment the guest walks in through the front door. The apartment is full of charm and character and has been decorated perfectly, with such great features as the original exposed wooden beams to be found in the ceilings throughout the apartment, as well as the wonderful 19th century tiling in the apartment, the connected kitchen/dining room, hanging over the street, all make this apartment absolutely unique and unforgetable.
The apartment has two bedrooms with both their own bathroom. They both have double beds, the master bedroom has a spectacular double bed and comes with wardrobe space for the guests belongings. The master bedroom has lots of natural light as it is exterior facing and have large, floor to ceiling french windows. The whole apartment comes with late 19th century tiles which adds to the warmth and welcoming feel throughout the apartment.
The living room is quite spectacular, furnitured in late 19th century style, with breathtaking views over the cathedral, the typical exposed wooden beams and the most unique and wonderful objects that are used to decorate the room, make it a truly lovely place to sit back and relax before heading out for a meal in one of Barcelona's excellent restaurants, or to recover from a day of sightseeing or shopping.
Another wonderful part of the apartment is the kitchen with dining room. The kitchen itself is more than totally equiped, and is charmly connected with the very light dining room, hanging over the streets as used as a 'bridge' between two buildings. Here you will also find a large antique table and chairs so that you can enjoy any meal you may decide to prepare. The kitchen comes with all the basic mod cons in order to make your visit to Barcelona a hassle free one.

The apartement is situated in the area called 'El Ribera' or 'El Born'. This old bohemian area has become one of the most popular hotspots of Barcelona in the last years. There are plenty of restaurants and (tapas) bars and designer shops in this beautiful historic area (from the 12th century) with its small pedestrian streets. Of course the Cathedral Santa Maria del Mar & the Picasso museum are the main topics in this area.
