Apartment description
This apartment is located in a high tech building in the Poblenou area, on the largest street in Barcelona, named the Avinguda Diagonal. This street is famous for its many shopping possibilities; there is an outdoor flea-market at Plaza Glories and a some very big deluxe shopping malls. Nearby is a new area especially designed for cultural and music festivals and events, called the Forum. Furthermore, it is only 10 minutes walking to the beach where is also the pedestrianised boulevard Rambla de Poble Nou. Although it is a new area, the Rambla kept its Mediterranean style of life with all the terraces, shops and cafés.
The elegant building of the apartment was created by a famous architect called Carlos Ferrate. Since the apartment is situated on the 12th floor, it has outstanding views over the park in front of the apartment and as well among others to the Sagrada Familia; especially in the evening you can see the beautiful lights of the torre AgBar, the famous new Headquarters of the Water company in Spain.
The interior of this apartment is designed very modern and straight. The furniture is exclusive and of high standard; every unit is chosen with a lot of attention and it is an open and spacious apartment. The basic colours used in this apartment are black, white and dark grey, and it is easy to mistaken yourself thinking that you are in a 4 star hotel. A big advantage is that the apartment is very bright and light as the balcony goes alongside the whole front of the apartment; it connects with the bedroom as well as with the kitchen and the living room. As you enter the flat, the kitchen is directly in front of you. The kitchen is very modern and has white closets. The sink, the fridge, the freezer and the microwave are of beautiful stainless steel; the rest of the machinery like the washing machine and the dryer are in white which makes a cool combination. In the back of the kitchen there is a standing table with four bar stools. This table is ideal for having a drink in the night, especially because of the view onto the park and the streets outside from this point. The living room is connected with the kitchen at the front, as well as at the back. The living room is also decorated in the same style with a grey sofa in front of the black flatscreen television. The thick black carpet on the floor makes it a warm living room where you feel at home. On the other side of this room there is a dining table made of glass with four black chairs. This room contains also Hifi and a DVD player. There are two paintings on the wall with a black background. A large one in the hall with a white feather and one in the living room with a beautiful rose on it.
On the right side of the living room you will find the bedroom. The bed has blankets and pillows in the basic colours which are black, white and dark grey. The upper blanket has a classic print. On each side of the bed there is a little cupboard beside the bed with a night lamp. Furthermore, there is a large white cupboard in this room for all your clothes. On the floor you see a zebra-print carpet, a tall lamp and some black blocks piled up. The sun shines brightly into this room thanks to the wide glass door which connects with the balcony. From this bedroom you can enter directly into the bathroom. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet and a broad sink. There is also a cupboard under the sink with three drawers and there is a little stool underneath.
