Apartment description
The apartment ?Calabria? is located in the heart of Barcelona in an area called Eixample. Eixample (Catalan for "extension") is a district of Barcelona between the old city and what were once surrounding small towns. Constructed in the 19th and early 20th centuries, some parts of the Eixample were heavily influenced by modernist architects, chief among whom is Antoni Gaudí® His work in the Eixample includes the Casa Milà ¨nicknamed La Pedrera) and the Casa Batlló¬ ¢oth of which are on the wide Passeig de Grࣩa, as well as the Sagrada Famí¬©a.
Apartment Calabria has got the same advantages regarding to its location as apartment 70706 Miro. From here everything is just a metro station ahead. The world famous ?La Rambla?, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, tapas bars and a lot of sightseeing are all within your reach (less than 7 min. with subway). It is a very practical location, because when you access Barcelona Sants railway station, you will find direct connections to the airport and other major cities, which is pretty functional and luxurious!
The apartment Calabria is decorated the classic way, but with style! Apartment Calabria has got very spacious rooms and a large balcony for some outside relaxing. People who want to avoid the stairs can use the elevator to reach the apartment on the first floor.
Once inside this apartment you?ll notice the wooden parquet on the floor, which is throughout the whole apartment. If you look at the main bedroom, you can see that it is pretty large, it has a twin bed and a double door window for some outside view. You?ll also find a chest of drawers and bedside cabinet inside this room. There is also a second bedroom, which is a bit smaller and contains one single bed. Again this room has got some space left and there you?ll find a bedside cabinet. Both rooms are provided with small lamps used for reading.
The living room of Calabria is probably the most charming place to be. In this large room there?s a TV, a four person diner table, a comfortable twin bed sofa, an extra sofa and beautiful furniture decoration. You can also access the balcony from this room if you walk through the beautiful high French doors. The balcony is decorated with some plants to keep some heat out of the place, while you choose to sit outside.
If you go back inside again and walk right through the kitchen, you?ll see that you?ve arrived in a very modern one. The kitchen invites you to cook, because it?s fully equipped with: an oven, a washing machine, a coffee maker, kettle, a milk shaker, a toaster and much more. All the standard kitchenware is provided and extended to make your time in the kitchen even more pleasant.
There is a complete bathroom, smart and nicely decorated with white wall tiles. It contains a bath/shower, a sink and a WC. If you would like you could also make use of the hairdryer, which can also be found inside the bathroom.
