Apartment description
This apartment Miro is located in the heart of Barcelona in an area called: Eixample. The Eixample (Catalan for "extension") is a district of Barcelona between the old city and what were once surrounding small towns. Constructed in the 19th and early 20th centuries, some parts of the Eixample were heavily influenced by modernist architects, chief among whom is Antoni Gaudí. His work in the Eixample includes the Casa Milà (nicknamed La Pedrera) and the Casa Batlló, both of which are on the wide Passeig de Gràcia, as well as the Sagrada Família.
Apartment Miro has got the same advantages regarding to its location as apartment 70704 Calabria. From here everything is just a metro station ahead. The world famous “La Rambla”, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, tapas bars and a lot of sightseeing are all within your reach (less than 7 min. with subway). It is a very practical location, because when you access Barcelona Sants railway station, you will find direct connections to the airport and other major cities, which is pretty functional and luxurious!
This lovely, bright and spacious apartment consist of 3 bedrooms, a large living room, a kitchen, a small balcony. one bathroom and an extra room with a toilet, built in a colonial-modern style.
The main bedroom is a very large one. There is a twin bed, enough space inside the big wardrobe for luggage and clothes and even a double door which will lead you to a small balcony. From the balcony you can have a good view over some city streets.
There’s also a second bedroom with another twin bed. In this room you will find a very small separated room where you can store some clothes and where you can change.
As if it isn’t already big enough, we’ve got a third bedroom for you. In this bedroom, which is connected to the living room, you will find two easy to move single beds. This is a very bright room because it has four windows on a row.
In the kitchen you will find everything you need. The modern kitchenware and furniture make it all very comfortable and very attractive to cook. Besides you will find a washing machine, a coffee maker, kettle, a blender and a toaster.
Another important room is the bathroom. It consists of the general things you’ll expect to find, like a bath and a shower, but also some extra things like a hairdryer. The bathroom is decorated nicely and has got a large mirror above the sink. There is also plenty of storage room for towels and other stuff you will use inside the bathroom. For extra comfort, more privacy and a little more luxury, there’s a second small bathroom, with a toilet and a sink inside the apartment!

In front of the apartment is a gym. It has a great swimming pool (which is rare in Barcelona), a 270m2 fitness area, a 825 m2 sport area with bikes, aerobic/steps sessions, sauna, solarium, etc. It is possible to pay pro day.

The Eixample district called as well “El Plan cerdá” was created from the project of the expansion of the city, and its union with the surrounded towns, made by the famous city planner Idelfonso Cerdá. The Eixample district is a unique zone wich represents the greater expression of the modernist architecture, and specially Gaudí’s (Milá House, the Batlló House and the Sagrada Family). Its main avenue Paseo de Gracia is considered like one of the most beautiful avenues in the world.
