This 2nd floor duplex apartment is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter with many of the city’s top tourist attractions on the doorstep: La Rambla, Plaça Catalunya and the Cathedral, as well as boutiques, cafes, restaurants and tapas bars. The popular Plaça Reial is also nearby and is a great location to sit back, enjoy a drink or meal and soak up the atmosphere.
A gated entranceway provides extra privacy at this great apartment. Inside it has been warmly decorated and has some lovely contemporary features such as the glass stairway connecting the two floors. There are three bedrooms: the first has a large double bed and looks out over a typical narrow street; the second has a double bed, a spacious wardrobe and an en-suite bathroom with a bath; and the third has two single beds and space for luggage and clothes.
There is also an additional sofa bed in the lounge and a second bathroom with a shower located on the first floor. A compact, ultra modern kitchen provides a haven for anyone who loves to cook.

Around the area of the apartment
The apartment is located in the Gothic District, at walking distance of the historical cathedral and area 'El Born' with its friendly, excellent restaurants, tapas bars, arts and designer shops and small boutiques.
The Gothic District is one of the districts of the old part of Barcelona with its narrow and sometimes crowded streets and flavours of the past. In fact the Gothic District is located in the middle of a square shaped by Las Ramblas, the old harbour, the cathedral and the area El Born. Almost all interesting tourist spots are nearby your apartment, like the famous market "Mercado Boqueria'' the beautiful cathedral with adjacent monastery, the Picasso museum and the beach with less than a 10 minute walking distance. You will find lots of cosey little bars and street musicians, and the streets will be alive until late in the evening. There are very efficient bus and metro connections.
