Appartement beschrijving
Bruc is an apartment, that is located in the heart of Barcelona?s: Eixample. The Eixample (Catalan for "extension") is a district of Barcelona between the old city and what were once surrounding small towns. Constructed in the 19th and early 20th centuries, some parts of the Eixample were heavily influenced by modernist architects, chief among whom is Antoni Gaudí® His work in the Eixample includes the Casa Milà ¨nicknamed La Pedrera) and the Casa Batlló¬ ¢oth of which are on the wide Passeig de Grࣩa, as well as the Sagrada Famí¬©a.
From here everything is just around the corner. The world famous ?La Rambla?, boutiques, cafes, restaurants, tapas bars and a lot of sightseeing are all within your reach (less than 15 minutes walk, 2 min. with subway).
In this apartment the modern designed decorations will invite you to come over. Once inside you can make yourself comfortable in many ways. While you are inside you will find out soon enough that the apartment is very bright and spacious (very exclusive in Barcelona). The living room has got a beautiful wooden floor throughout and a large sofa which can also be used as a bed for 2 persons. There is a TV, a stereo with Radio- CD player, MP3 Player and a DVD player. The dining area has a smart glass dinning table and provides seats for 6 people.
The main bedroom is the brightest one, because it gets a lot of sunlight during the day. This room is also decorated very invitingly. It has a large twin bed and plenty of wardrobe space. The second bedroom has also got a twin bed.
The bathroom is clean and bright with a large oval bath and overhead shower and a hairdryer is provided.
The separate kitchen is fully equipped with all new appliances, including a microwave, oven, a full refrigerator/freezer, a coffee machine, a washing machine, kettle, toaster, and pots and pans.
The apartment is provided with central air-conditioning and heater.
Note that you will stay in one of the most modern apartments available and that you will be able to access the internet with Wi Fi (wireless). It also provides the following: ADSL internet access and a telephone accepting in-coming calls from your home country.
De wijk en omgeving van het appartement
Het appartement is heel centraal gelegen, het ligt op 100 meter van plaza Catalunya en de Ramblas, direct naast plaza Urquinaona, midden in een shoppinggebied en op 10 minuten van het strand. Er is een bus en metro in de buurt (lijnen 1, 2 en 3). Echter, wij adviseren om te wandelen naar bijvoorbeeld Barri Gotic en El Born, de gezellige gotische wijk.
