1. Reservations, payments and deposits
At the moment of booking a down payment of the whole apartment rental price has to be made via credit card or occasionally by bank transfer. Touristways does require receiving that deposit to hold the reservation of the customer. The required amount depends on the selected apartment, the number of guests, the length of stay and the selected period. The amount will be shown in the price calculation of the apartments and on the online booking form which is shown to the customer before the actual booking. The rest of the payment needs to be paid in cash on the day of arrival.
Please note that the booking will not be confirmed until Touristways has received the pre-payment amount AND the customer has received a confirmation email from Touristways. In the case that the pre-payment has been done by bank transfer the customer has to send a proof of that payment to Touristways. This can be done by sending a copy (screenshot) to reservations@touristways.com or a fax to +34 933 945 601 within 24 hours after the reservation has been made.
Depending on the apartment offered, a cash damage deposit ranging from 50€ to 450€ can be requested upon arrival and will be refunded in full after inspection of the apartment by the owner and it is left reasonable. To check the deposit amount for the apartment you want to book, please check the apartment page or the booking details.

2. Prices
The prices mentioned on the website are per apartment (not per person) per night. The prices may vary per period, amount of people and the amount of days. Special price discounts are mentioned in a visual way, as well as surcharges. The calculated price will already include the applicable discount/surcharge.

3. Cancellation or changes
Cancellation fee depends on notice given and are as follows:
- Notice given less than 14 days but more than 48 hours prior to arrival: 50% of the total balance;
- Notice given less than 48 hours prior to arrival, or no prior notice (´no-show‘): 100% of the total balance.
Please note that the prepayment is non-refundable, not even in the case of force majeure.
Modify the number of guests: with fewer guests, the remaining balance stays the same;
with more guests, you pay the required supplement on arrival.
Change the number of days: with fewer days, you pay less; with more days, you pay the required additional sum on arrival.
Changes in bookings will be charged with 30 euros administration costs.
Touristways recommends her customers to purchase travel insurance with cancellation cover.
Please note that the pre-payment is non refundable, not even in the case of force majeure. The cancellation policy fees depending on the notice given:

If Touristways should be unable to provide the apartment being booked by the customer, Touristways reserves the right to transfer the customer to an apartment with similar characteristics.

If no agreement can be reached, both contractual parties are authorized to cancel the contract. In this case Touristways will refund all money paid (except the part corresponding to the days that the apartment was used, if this was the case) to the customer. Touristways will not be liable for further claims by the customer.

4. Arrival
The apartment will be available from 15:00 pm at the day of arrival. If, for any reason, your arrival is earlier, please contact your contact person, which is noted in the confirmation mail, so he can try to accommodate you before.

The customer always has to get in touch with the contact person after their arrival in the city where the booked apartment is located. Then they will arrange the meeting at the apartment for the check-in (handing over of the apartment keys, payment of the outstanding rental fee).

In case the customer cannot reach the contact person, the customer is obliged to call Touristways Customer Service for assistance, on the number indicated in the confirmation email.

Please note that for arrivals between 21:00 – 08.00 there can be an extra check-in fee. The amount depends on the apartment, and you will find the exact amount on the apartment page on the website. If the customer didn’t fill in the arrival time in the reservation form, the apartment manager is allowed to ask for the fee at the day of the arrival even if it was not calculated in the total rent before.

5. Departure
The apartment should be left before 11:00 am at the day of departure. If, for any reason, your departure is later, please contact your contact person for a possible late check-out.

6. Cleaning
The apartment has been cleaned prior to the arrival of each customer. When leaving, the customer is obliged to leave the apartment in a reasonable condition. The owner of the accommodation is entitled to charge additional fees if the accommodation not left in a reasonable condition.

7. Number and identity of the guests
The customer will inform Touristways of the number of guests included within the booking. Unless otherwise agreed by Touristways, only the number of persons indicated by the customer when booking the apartment shall be authorised to use it. The number of persons who may use the apartment may not exceed the number of persons allocated for each apartment, except for children under three years of age. Pets are not allowed, unless indicated in the apartment page. In the event of any infringement of the before mentioned obligations, Touristways at its sole discretion will be entitled to request the customer to leave the apartment, and the customer shall have no right to claim any type of compensation.

8. Behaviour
The customer will be liable for the correct and decent behaviour of all the persons accompanying him/her. Should that person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her not behave in a suitable and responsible way, Touristways shall be entitled to request the customer and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the apartment without the right to claim any type of compensation.

Please respect your neighbours, particularly in the evenings and at night.

9. Liabilities
Neither Touristways nor the owner of the apartment shall be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may arise as a consequence of the customer’s use of the apartment, including without limitation, damages, insurance, losses because of fire, injuries by accidents, robbery or criminal behaviour.

If the customer finds malfunctions in an apartment, he/she is obliged to inform Touristways AND the apartment manager as soon as possible. If not, when found out, the customers can be held liable for this damage.

10. Complaints
Complaints on services provided must be reported by the customer to the apartment manager AND to Touristways within 48 hours of their being detected, in order that the latter may adopt an appropriate solution.
Complaints that cannot be resolved on location to the satisfaction of customer must be referred in writing to Touristways within one month of completion of the period of accommodation. This written notification must stipulate the date of accommodation and the reservation number.

Touristways acts as an intermediary between the customer (apartment hirer) and the apartment owner. Touristways does not own nor manage the apartments. Regarding that, the first contact person is always the contact person mentioned in the confirmation email. Although Touristways is doing her upmost to maintain quality of the information provided on the website, Touristways is reliable on the information given by the customer and the apartment owner.

11. Our Website
The website “www.touristways.com ” is used by accommodation owners to publish their accommodation(s). The information provided on the website “www.touristways.com” is supplied by the apartment owners. While Touristways does her upmost to maintain accuracy and check details wherever possible, Touristways cannot be held liable for any errors or omissions that may arise.

Touristways also reserves the right to change information published on the site at any time including rates, descriptions and photographs. Touristways makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on its website.

Touristways reserves the right to update any of its terms and conditions at any time, as may be required and as may be in line with the company's business. The onus is placed on all parties, using the site, to undertake adequate measures to ensure that they visit any such terms and conditions on a regular basis. By agreeing to use this site, it is implied that any such changes are accepted by any such third party and, that any such third party undertakes to comply with any such changes.

These terms do not affect consumer statutory rights.
