Descrizione dell'appartamento
This is a charming 1 bedroom apartment located at Lisbon's city centre, between Santos and Lapa, the district where the National Museum of art (Museu de Arte Antiga) is also located. It is between Baixa (walking distance) and Belem (by tram or bus).
The apartment has a sitting room with dinning table and a single sofa-bed. The bedroom has a double bed. The kitchen of the apartment has everything to need for your stay in Lisbon.
We will welcome you with a bottle of cold “vinho verde”.
You will also find in the apartment various CDs with typical Portuguese music to complete your cultural experience in Lisbon.
This apartmentis located between Lapa and Santos, a neighborhood by the river Tejo, place of several embassies and also where the Ancient Art Museum is located (Museu de Arte Antiga) and the wonderful parc in front of it (Miradouro do Museu de Arte Antiga). Here you can view old paintings from 13th Century to 19th century, from which Tentações de Santo Antão de Jeronimus Boch (1500) is a must. If you visit the museum you can also go to its restaurant. It has tables in the garden and a beautiful view over the Tagus river (Rio Tejo).
Santos is called the design district, because it is a place where several art galleries and design shops are placed. It is very close to Lapa, neighborhood where our apartment 45 is.
You are also at walking distance of one of the most important areas of nightlife (Av 24 de Julho).
From here you can easily accede to Baixa and Belém by tram.
Belém has parks, open-air restaurants, the impressive Monastery of Jerónimos, the Belém tower (Torre de Belém), the Discoveries Monument (Padrão das Descobertas) and also the modern cultural centre (Centro Cultural de Belém), with the Design Museum, and offering always the best exhibitions and concerts (push to have access to the cultural program).
In the other direction, you can find Praça do Comércio, centre of the old Portuguese empire on the river Tagus (Rio Tejo).
