The apartment is located on the 4th floor of a typical XIX century building constructed against a XV century fortress wall in the Pena district. Nearby you have all kinds of traditional commerce, and it is a walking distance from Lisbon's historical centre and some of the best sea food restaurants in the city. It is also a short walking distance to the subway and train stations going to the beaches around Cascais.
The apartment has one bedroom with double bed, one living room with a sofa bed, dining area and satellite TV, a mezzanine with a single bed, a kitchen with all you need, a bathroom with an ancient renewed bathtub and a terrace built within on the old fortress wall, with an amazing view over the castle.

The apartment is located in a building at Calçada Nova do Colégio, which is a charming narrow street.. The main feature this area is that it is a plateau, from which two main slopes descend, facing Martin Moniz and Avenida da Liberdade. It begins at the north-east of Rossio and extends to Campo dos Mártires da Pátria, commonly known by Campo de Santana. The streets on the two slopes are twisting and irregular, leading to many beautiful alleys and side streets. |
